To support the students, parents, and personnel of Clyde Hamrick at the school and community level. To this end, we strive to : raise money by special projects for school improvements; promote fellowship within the school; supply information about Hamrick PTO; stimulate participation in school activities; and foster cooperative relationships between parents and teachers.

Welcome Parents!


 
Clyde Hamrick PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) would like to welcome you back to school!  We are a group of parents and grandparents of students at Hamrick that work together with the teachers and administration at the school to plan events and fundraise for the school.

We are a fun group who works well planning not only exciting events for the students to enjoy throughout the year, but more importantly building relationships and “doing the elementary school thing” together as we parent.  Our success depends on parents willing to share their time and talents---we have tasks great and small to accommodate all preferences!  We would love to see new faces at our monthly meetings--the first TUESDAY of each month at 6:00p.m. in the school library.  If you cannot attend meetings but would still like to keep up and participate with events, there are several avenues for you to do so:

Join us next Thursday, Aug. 27th 9:00 a.m. in the library for a “Welcome Coffee.”  Meet other parents, PTO members, ask questions, and learn what’s going on at Hamrick this school year!  Research has proven students are more successful when parents are involved in their child’s education . . . so join in today!
